PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES CAREFULLY. BY ENTERING THE RAFFLE, YOU UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO AND ACCEPT THESE RULES. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AGES 18 AND OLDER. THE RAFFLE IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
The prize drawing will be held on December 14th, 2018 in room 228 of Medford School District Office at 815 S Oakdale Ave at 4:00 PM.
Must be a legal resident of the United States.
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to participate.
Tickets are $20 for once chance. A maximum of 5,000 tickets will be sold.
By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser enters this raffle and accepts and agrees to be bound by all the rules, regulations, limitations, and restrictions set forth herein.
Prizes are for the private use of the winners as stated in the “Winner Affidavit” and may not be used for any other fundraising activity by the winner(s).
All federal and state taxes for the prize will be paid by the Medford Schools Foundation. Winner will be required to provide their SSN before the prize is released.
Per IRS Publication 526, the ticket price is not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
It is strongly recommended that winners consult a tax advisor.
WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION, AND VERIFICATION:
A ticket represents a chance to accept the stated prize subject to all terms and conditions set forth herein and in the “Winner Affidavit”. The winning ticket shall be selected by a random drawing. Winner need not be present to win. In the event, the winner fails to accept the prize and submit the Disney Vacation Raffle Official Rules and Winner Affidavit within the time set forth, and at the option of the Medford Schools Foundation, the prize will be forfeited and shall be contributed to the Medford Schools Foundation.
The prize will be paid out in gift cards totaling $10,000 in value to use for booking Disneyland Vacation.
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
Void where prohibited by law.
Prizes will not be awarded and shall be forfeited if the winner’s ticket was issued in exchange for a check returned for “insufficient funds” or for a credit card charge declined, invalid, stolen or otherwise rejected.
Except where prohibited by law, names and/or likenesses and quotes of winners may be disclosed to and used by the news media and may otherwise be used by the Medford Schools Foundation for publicity purposes and in lists of prize winners to be published in area newspapers and announced on area television and radio stations and the Medford Schools Foundation’s website and social media accounts.
The Medford Schools Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person that it finds to be or suspects to be (a) tampering with, or attempting to tamper with, the entry process or the operation of the raffle, or (b) acting in violation of the Official Rules, or with intent to abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
Medford Schools Foundation’s interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
Purchaser agrees to release Medford Schools Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participating in the raffle or winning any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize and each winner agrees to indemnify and hold Medford Schools Foundation harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of participating in the raffle or the winner’s acceptance or use of any prize.
A raffle participant’s sole and exclusive remedy for a breach by Medford Schools Foundation shall be limited to the return of the purchase price paid for their raffle ticket(s).
