The Medford Schools Foundation will be holding its first phone bank fundraiser October 17th through October 21st. Our goal is to raise $250,000 this year and this will be just one of the many activities we do to achieve that goal.


We are looking for volunteers to join us on your school’s calling night. If you can’t attend on your school’s calling night, come any night.

The calling event will take place at the Harry & David Conference Center, 2800 S Pacific Hwy. in Medford.

October 17 (Monday) – Ruch, Jacksonville, Griffin Creek, and Oak Groove

October 18 (Tuesday) – Hoover, Abraham Lincoln, Howard, and Wilson

October 19 (Wednesday) – Jackson, Washington, Kennedy, and Roosevelt

October 20 (Thursday) – North Medford, South Medford, and Lone Pine

October 21 (Friday) – Hedrick, McLoughlin, Central and Jefferson


6:00 – 6:10 pm… Check-in, eat dinner donated by local restaurants, chat   with other volunteers.

6:10 – 6:30 pm… Training while you eat.

6:30 – 8:30 pm… Call parents and previous donors.

If you’ve never done this before and are uncomfortable asking people for money! Don’t worry – everyone feels that way at first. You’ll get help with what to say and how to say it. Encourage a friend to sign up to volunteer with you – there’s strength in numbers – and you can practice on each other before you begin. The first phone call can be scary, but that first donation makes you feel incredibly good. By the time you leave you’ll be surprised at how much fun you’ve had and will feel great about making a real difference in the Medford schools.
